I was very motivated this morning and got up at 5:00 and drove to the Y. I did 3 miles on the treadmill and then did a good deep stretch for about 15 minutes. I've been neglecting stretching lately, and I can tell a big difference already. I'm not as stiff and sore as I normally am after running. I need to make sure that I do a proper cool down/stretching session after every run. Who knew that when you do what the professionals recommend it actually works?
